The Vision

I saw you again last night
I held your hand and felt your touch
I went beyond the realm of existence
I touched your soul

As you touched mine
I gazed upon your face
I saw the look of love
I wished so long for that look
I wished so long for that touch

You woke me from my slumber
You taught me how to love
You awakened in my heart
A destiny of love

Then suddenly a cloud
Blotted out this vision
I could no longer see you
I could no longer feel you

I gazed upon this cloud
I cursed it's name aloud
I cursed it for eternity
It answered with it's name

I did not want to hear
This could not be I said
But still the world can see
That cloud was only me
